Beverly McRae Combs, 51, of Charlotte, NC, died March 7, 2019, at her home and with the blessing of hospice, had her family around her. Beverly was born in Charlotte on May 9, 1967, the daughter of Lawrence Richard and Patsy Schaffner McRae. She attended Garinger High School and spent a life working in retail.

She worked for Metrolina Greenhouse, Harris Teeter, Food Lion, Northern Tool and Lowes. On August 3, 1990, she married Robert Combs. Beverly enjoyed many things in life.

She enjoyed collecting items, specifically fond of angels and waterfalls. Most of all, though, she loved the time spent with family and friends. Beverly cherished the special memories of going to “The Farm” in Ellerbee with her aunt.

Beverly is survived by her husband, Robert “Bobby” Combs; three daughters: Angela (husband Seth) Dutton of Mesa, AZ, Sheila (husband David) Oxendine of Denver, NC, and Rachel Perez of Charlotte. She is further survived by a sister, Beth (husband Bill) Metzker of Indian Trail, NC, 8 grandchildren, her canine companion “Puggy” and numerous other relatives and friends. Services are pending and will be announced when finalized.
