Billy Bob Spruiell, 79, of Gilmer, TX passed away at his home on February 23, 2019. Bob was born in Coolidge, TX on November 2, 1939 to parents, Robert Laney Spruiell and Jo Nell Spruiell. He is a graduate of Grand Prairie High School, The University of North Texas, and Southwestern Graduate School of Banking.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Laney Spruiell and Jo Nell Goeke Spruiell. He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 54 years, Linda Owen Spruiell; daughters, Stacey Spruiell Myers and Shelly Spruiell Whatley, sons-in-law Craig Myers and Scott Whatley; and grandchildren, Michael and Joshua Myers and Lindy and Logan Whatley. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. Services are under the direction of McWhorter Funeral Home.

New Way Country Church, 11757 Hwy 271 North, Gilmer, TX 75644 Dr. Randel Trull and Brother Holland Atchley will preside over the service.
