Memorial services for Jack Robert Hightower, 71, of Gilmer, will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, February 18, 2019, at The First Assembly of God Church with Bro. Aaron Parks officiating. Jack was born May 8, 1947, to Richard and Joyce Hightower, in Tanzania, Africa, and passed away February 9, 2019, in Gilmer, Texas.

He is survived by his son, Ben Weart; daughters, Nancy Hightower and Mandy Langer; brothers, Bill Hightower and Ron Hightower; and several grandchildren; He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Jack was a tele-communications engineer for many years before his retirement. He came to Texas in 2016.
