Billy’s Obituary Billy Malcolm Perritt, 71, died Friday, March 29, 2019 at McLeod Hospice House after an illness. Billy was born June 11, 1947 in Mullins, a son of the late Harvis and Edna Hammonds Perritt. He was a retired boilermaker and the manager of Herrington Construction Co. Billy was a US Army veteran, having served in the Korean War, where he was a recipient of the Purple Heart.

He was a member of the VFW, the DAV and the CarQuest Social Club. Billy was a member of the Cowboy Church of Fork. Surviving Billy are: his Daughter: Michelle “Doodle” Perritt of Marion and her mother, Libby Thompkins Perritt; his Sister: Joyce Perritt (E.L.) McKenzie of Lexington; his Brother: Douglas Leo Perritt of Brunswick, GA; many nieces and nephews; his God Daughter: Melissa Herrington of Marion; his God Son: Jimmy (Amy) Herrington of Mullins; and his brothers from the Cowboy Church.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Monday, April 1, at the Chapel of Cox-Collins Funeral Home, with Rev. Jim Warren officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Cox-Collins Funeral Home.
