OBITUARY Billy Ray Sellers May 27, 1937 – September 12, 2018 Celebration of Life for Billy Ray Sellers, 81, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 22, 2018, at Chapin Baptist Church. Rev. Michael Hull will officiate.

Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel is assisting the family. Billy was released from the loving embrace of his wife into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, September 12, 2018. Born in Rockingham, NC, he was the son of the late Thelma Sellers.

Billy, affectionately known as “Poppie” was the beloved husband of Nancy Seay Sellers. He was a member of Chapin Baptist Church. Billy proudly served in the US Air Force.

He was a superintendent with Ward Construction and Development, Macon GA. Billy had a wonderful sense of humor and filled his life with laughter and love. Surviving in addition to his wife, are his “bonus” children, David Sauls, Susan Martinez (Tato), Jay Sauls (Sherry), Joel Sauls (Gina), Chris Sauls, Lori Kunkel (Kevin), Lee Anne Futrell (Phillip); 15 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Sylvia Faw; and brother, Tommy Griffin.

He is also survived by his children, Patty Sellers, Judy Sellers, Billy Ray Sellers, Jr., and Michelle Sellers. “He has fought the good fight, he has finished the course. He has kept the faith.
