Obituary for Blake Roberts Blake Newton Roberts, age 24 of Johnson City, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 in the Johnson City Medical Center. He was the son of the late Joey Lynn Roberts Jr. and Keri Adler Roberts, born to them on March 10, 1994 in Asheville, North Carolina. Blake was a die-hard Pittsburg Steelers fan.

He enjoyed spending time at Holsten Lake with his friends and fantasy football. He also greatly enjoyed spending time with his dog, Ava Gardner. He graduated with honors from North Buncombe High School in Weaverville, North Carolina and attended college at Western Carolina University and East Tennessee State University.

Along with his father, Blake is preceded in death by a cousin, Sherry Lynn Swink. Blake is survived by his loving mother, Keri Roberts; his grandparents, Ray & Sharon Adler; his aunts: Michelle Adler, April Lyda and Cindy Roberts. He is also survived by relatives and his many close friends.

The family will gather to greet friends and share memories on Monday, January, 14, 2019 from 1:00 pm until a Celebration of Blake’s life at 3:00 pm at Tetrick Funeral Services, Johnson City Pastor Bill Taylor officiating. Blake will be laid to rest in the Evergreen Cemetery in Erwin on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 11:30 A.M. with family members and close friends serving as pallbearers. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery by 11:20 A.M. Memories and condolences may be shared at www.
