In loving memory of Virginia A. Noworyta, age 75, of Johnson City, formerly of Athens Tennessee, passed away on Saturday February 16, 2019 in the Agape Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on January 30, 1944 to the late Charles Lee Sams and Rose Fields Sams in Harlan County Kentucky. She was a coal miner’s daughter.

She enjoyed cooking, gardening and spending time with her family. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter Katherine M. FitzPatrick; Granddaughter Kimberly Knowles her brothers and sisters Carol, Margie, Johnny, Terry & Gary. She is survived by her loving family: Two children; Dee Ann FitzPatrick Garcia (Gary Eaton) and Arthur J. FitzPatrick IV (Jennifer FitzPatrick) Brothers & Sisters Patty Toarmino, Charles Lee Sams & Linda Sams; Grandchildren David (Brandy) Tabitha, Nicole (Jason), Pauliene (Raul) Junior, (Amanda) Sasha(Michael), Daniel, Ryan, JJ (Latasha) Arthur, J.V, Ocean, Stormy, Michael & Winter.

23 Great Grandchildren, and last but not least, her special dog Fancy. She also leaves behind a host of relatives and friends left behind to mourn her passing. A celebration of life service will be conducted on Thursday February 21, 2019 at 7:00 P.M. in the sunrise chapel of Tetrick Funeral Services of Johnson City.
