Brian Keith Carrier, age 55, of Elizabethton, TN stepped into his eternal home and the loving arms of his Savior on February 15, 2019. He was a native of Carter County, born in Elizabethton. He was a carpenter by trade and always loved his work and took great pride in each job he did.

Keith was employed by Comsa Construction. He was first a child of God and a member of Holly Springs Free Will Baptist Church where he attended faithfully. He loved to fish especially with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his dear mother Maude Hope Asher Carrier. Those left to cherish his memory for all of our days are his loving wife of 33 years, Lisa Carrier of the home; his father, Eugene Carrier of Elizabethton; a son, Clifford Carrier of Elizabethton; a daughter Medora Perry and son-in-law (son) Justin Perry of Elizabethton; two sisters, Jennifer Estep and Debbie Perry and her husband, Dennis all of Elizabethton; a special daughter and son, Shahana & Huseyn Mustafayeva; his grandchildren who were his heart, Trevor Yates, Connor Carrier and Payzli Perry. Also surviving are Shanana’s three children, Nargiz, Narmin and Farid all of Baku Azerbaijan; his stepmother whom he loved dearly, Tresea Scalf and his step siblings, Jimmy and Linda Scalf, Kevin and Heather Scalf, Lisa and Eddie Julian, Carrie and Tim Miller, and many loved nieces and nephews.

A service to honor the life of Brian Keith Carrier will be conducted at 8:00 PM on Sunday, February 17, 2019 at Holly Springs Free Will Baptist Church with Pastor Justin Hodges, Pastor Bo Perkins and Pastor Jacob Hill officiating. Music will be under the direction of Forgiven & The Children of Holly Springs Free Will Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 PM on Sunday prior to the funeral service at the church.

The graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Monday, February 18, 2019 at Garland Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be his grandson, Trevor Yates, his nephews, Mitchell Estep and Dustin Perry, and his dear friends, Craig Comsa, Steve Hall and Nefi Griego. Everyone will meet at Holly Springs Free Will Baptist Church at 10:15 am on Monday to go in procession to the cemetery.

The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers, calls, texts, visits and food. We would also like to thank the doctors and nurses at Johnson City Medical Center and Duke University who lovingly cared for Keith.
