Vesta Pauline Berry Arnold, age 81, of Elizabethton, went home to be with the lord on Monday, February 11, 2019 from her residence. Vesta was born in Carter County to the late Ross and Lucy Bowers Berry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Bruce Edward Arnold; a daughter, Regina Arnold; and a brother, Jack Berry.

Vesta retired from Raceway Easy Stop and was a member of Moore’s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. She enjoyed painting, pictures and dancing. Those left to cherish her memories include her sons, Jimmy Berry and wife Vicki, Donnie Arnold and Emeka Moses and Wayne Arnold and wife Cindy, all of Elizabethton; a daughter, Heather Moscow and husband Bill, of Piney Flats; four sisters, Martina Bradshaw, Marie Carden and husband Dana Earl, Margaret Davis and Betty White and husband Ronnie, all of Elizabethton; a sister-in-law, Jean Berry, of Elizabethton; her grandchildren, Amber, Scott, Brandi, Tiffany, Chelsea, Christopher, Noah, Kaleb, Savannah and Danielle; and five great grandchildren.

A service to celebrate the life of Vesta Pauline Berry Arnold will be conducted at 7:00 PM on Friday, February 15, 2019 in the Chapel of Peace at Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton with Pastor Patrick Barr, officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 Pm until 7:00 PM in the funeral home chapel, prior to the service on Friday. The graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Pearl Bowers Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to meet at Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton at 10:15 AM on Saturday, to go in procession. Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers, may make donations to the, American Diabetes Association 2451 Crystal Drive, Suite 900 Arlington, VA 22202.
