Christina Michelle Barnett, age 51 of Johnson City, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2019 in the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a daughter of William Dell Nottingham and Becky Wallen, born to them on July 20, 1967 in Kingsport, Tennessee. She united in marriage to Dusty Barnett and to this union, a loving son was born.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Dusty Barnett; her step-father: E.B. Wallen; Grandparents: Worley and Dorothy Fleming, Kenneth and Bernice Nottingham, Tom and Mabel Estep, and Paul and Pat Cartwright. She is survived by her loving son: Christopher Allen Barnett; Parents: Becky Wallen, and Dell (Nancy) Nottingham: Sister: Debbie (David) Carico: Brothers: Mark Wallen, Craig Reynolds and Scott (Valecia) Reynolds: Niece: Chloe Carico and Nephew, Will Henninger. Michelle also leaves behind a host of extended family and friends as well as her 4 legged baby, Ruben.

A memorial service for Michelle Barnett will be held at the Living Word Lutheran Church, 5210 North Roan Street, Johnson City, Tennessee 37615, on Friday, March 29, 2019 at 6:00 P.M. with Pastor Andrew Stuebs officiating. Visitation will take place from 5:00 P.M. until the service begins at 6:00 P.M. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to all those at Johnson City Medical Center, who gave such wonderful care to Michelle during her illness. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Washington County Animal Shelter in loving memory of Michelle.
