Lewis Edmon Adams, 80, of Gray passed away Sunday March 17, 2019 at his home. He was born in Scott County Virginia to the late Lofty Claude and Amanda Ethel (Rhoten) Adams. Lewis served his nation in the United States Army for six years.

After returning home from the military he got a job at Norfolk Southern Railroad where he retired after forty two years. Lewis loved to farm and go to the flea markets every chance he could. Lewis is survived by his two sons Lewis Todd Adams and Jerry Andrew Adams, one grandson Lucas Todd Adams, two brothers James Adams and Frank Adams along with several nieces and nephews.

The family will gather to greet friends Thursday March 21, 2019 at 11:30am until a Funeral Service to honor Lewis’ life beginning at 1:30pm at Tetrick Funeral Services 3001 Peoples St. Johnson City Tennessee, 37604, with Rev. Ron Adams officiating. A graveside services will follow at 3pm at Washington County Memory Gardens, family and friends will serve as pall bears.
