Ronald “Boone” Malone, age 68, of Bluff City went home to be with his Lord after an extended illness. He was the son of the late Everett and Ressie Malone. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a sister; Linda Greene, five brothers; Herman, James, Donald Ray, Lewis and Tony Malone, one half-brother; Rocky Malone and two half-sisters; Clarissa Malone & Vickie Cross.

Mr. Malone was a very simple, loving man who had a very big heart. He enjoyed drinking coffee, fishing, telling tales, seeing his great niece “squirrel,” watching old western movies and listening & playing music. Those left to cherish his memory include two sisters; Joyce Roderfer of Bluff City, Pansy Cross of Bluff City, three half-sisters; Teresa Hyder (Teddy) of Elizabethton, Susan Malone of Bluff City, Melissa Otey (David) of Bristol, TN, two half-brothers; Leon Malone and Ricky Malone both of Bluff City, a special niece; Lilly “Squirrel” Dobbins of Mountain City and a Lifetime friend; Dwayne Nance Sr., He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A service to honor the life of Mr. Malone will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Tetrick Funeral Home, Bluff City with Pastor Shannon Courtner officiating. Music will be under the direction of Pastor Courtner. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the funeral home.

The graveside service to honor the life of Mr. Malone will be conducted following the service at Sunrise Cemetery in Bluff City. Pallbearers will be Buddy Cross, David Otey, Dwayne Nance, Tommy Spangler and other family and friends. Honorary pallbearer will be Dr. Ahmed A. Khan, MD.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Khan for his extraordinary compassion, knowledge and care that he gave during this difficult time.
