Evelyn M. Tinsley, age, 83 of Bluff City passed away at her home on Thursday, February 28, 2019. She was the daughter of the late William and Mary Dyche Morrell. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband John Tinsley, a son; John David Tinsley, two brothers; Kenneth Morrell and Jerry Morrell ,and a nephew; Skipper Morrell.

Evelyn was a member of Chinquapin Grove Baptist Church, she loved to collect antiques, work puzzles and spending time with her family & friends. Those left to cherish her memory include a son; Jimmy Tinsley (Brenda) of Bluff City, a daughter-in-law; Julie Tinsley of Vero Beach, FL, a granddaughter; Nikki Smith (Jared) of Blountville, a sister Diana Hicks (Allen) of Bluff City, sister –in-law; Linda Morrell of NC, loving friends; Don & Carol Pickel of Bluff City, a niece; Amy Terry (Phil) of Johnson City, nephews; Brandon Hicks (Sandie) and Shane Hicks of Bluff City, Steve and Kelly Henderson of Hendersonville, TN. A service to honor the life of Evelyn will be held at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Tetrick Funeral Home – Bluff City Chapel with pastors Jamie Ferguson and Rusty Verran officiating.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2019 at Morning View Cemetery in Bluff City, Tennessee. Pallbearers will be Brandon Hicks, Shane Hicks, Don Pickel, Phil Terry, Steve Henderson and John Sams.

Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery at 1:50 p.m. The family would like to give a special thanks to Becky and J.R. Lavergne and Smokey Mountain Hospice for all their loving care. In lieu of flowers make donations to Chinquapin Grove Baptist Church Building Fund, 1489 Walnut Grove Rd. , Bluff City Tennessee 37618.
