Patricia Elaine Vance Doty, age 57, of Elk Park, North Carolina, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 11, 2019, surrounded by her family and loved ones. Patricia was born on October 4, 1961 at Cannon Memorial Hospital in Banner Elk, North Carolina to the late Walter W. Vance and Geneva Arnold Vance. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Craig A. Doty.

Patricia attended Little Mountain Baptist Church in Roan Mountain, Tennessee and retired from Baxter’s after 39 years. She was looking forward to spending more time with her two daughters, her grandsons and her family. Patricia is survived by her two daughters, Angie Ledford and husband Ricky, of Spruce Pine, NC and Ashley Doty, of the home; two grandsons, Jacob and Mason Ledford; four sisters, Sandy Vance, of Roan Mountain, Donna Banner and husband Gary, of Newland, NC, Karen Fields and husband Eddie, of Roan Mountain and Pamela Vance and Bobby Clouser, of Roan Mountain; and her mother-in-law, Elsie Doty, of Roan Mountain.

Several nieces and nephews also survive. A service to celebrate the life of Patricia Elaine Vance Doty will be conducted at 7:00 PM on Friday, February 15, 2019 in the Rhododendron Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home, Roan Mountain with Rev. Terry Jones and Rev.

Derrick Hughes, officiating. Music will be provided by Mrs. Charlotte Smith. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM PM in the funeral home chapel, prior to the service on Friday or at the residence at any time.

The graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 16, 2019 in the Hall Cemetery in the Tiger Creek Community of Roan Mountain. Active pallbearers will be Dean Fields, Scott Banner, Mitchell Dial, David Street, Scott Hicks and Rick Ledford. Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Banner, Ed Fields and Bobby Clouser.

Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at Tetrick Funeral Home, Roan Mountain at 10:15 AM on Saturday, to go in procession.
