Mr. Ronald Lee Prince, age 79 of Johnson City, Tennessee passed away peacefully on Friday, February 15, 2019 at his home. He was the son of the late Richard Irwin Prince and Henrietta Hammer Prince, born to them on June 19, 1939 in New Albany, Indiana. Ronald proudly served his country in the United States Navy for 21 years.

He attained the rank of Chief Petty Officer. He received 13 military awards and recognitions including the Navy Commendation Award, the Navy Achievement Award, Combat Action Award, as well as several medals while serving during the Vietnam War. After spending 23 years in the United States Military, he retired.

During his retirement, he enjoyed yard work, fishing and spending time with his family. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters: Wanda Cobb and Judy Blessett; Three brothers: Richard, Melvin and Terry. Ronald is survived by his loving wife, Jacqueline Prince; his daughter, Sharon Henegar; a son, James Robinson; Three granddaughters: Morgan (Gavin) Pope, Kassi Kelly and Jami Robinson; One grandson, Robbie Robinson; One sister, Betty Jean Craig and two brothers: Tony Prince and Kurt Prince.

Ronald also leaves behind a host of many relatives and friends to mourn his passing. A graveside service for Mr. Ronald Lee Prince will be conducted on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. in the Mountain Home National Cemetery, Mountain Home, Tennessee. Military honors will be conducted at the cemetery.

Those wishing to attend the graveside service for Ronald, are asked to meet at the cemetery by 12:45 on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the United States Navy Memorial www. navymemorial.org in loving memory of Ronald Lee Prince.
