Lila “Joyce” Wexler Howard-Tiller, 68 of Gray, passed away on Friday, February 15, 2019 at her home surrounded by loved ones. A native of Washington County, TN, she is the daughter of the late Hal and Gladys Wexler. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her son, Michael Ray Howard and her sister, Judy Ann Wexler Brown.

If you knew Mom and she liked you, you were Blessed. She showed me how to love and I will pass it on, and she will never be forgotten. Those left to cherish Joyce’s memory include: husband, Ed Tiller of the home; sons, Daniel Scott Howard of Johnson City and Timmy Wayne Howard of Greeneville; brother, David Allen Wexler of Jonesborough; grandchildren, Shyne McCoy Harmon and Heaven Rayne Harmon; several nieces and nephews; and mother of her grandchildren, Cheryl Harmon.

The family will gather to receive friends in the Sunrise Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Services, Johnson City on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 from 4:00 pm until a celebration of Joyce’s life beginning at 5:00 pm with Evangelist Charles “Toonie” Cash officiating.
