Bobbie Jean Floyd Williams, 73, of Phenix City, AL passed away Monday night, January 14, 2019 at the Columbus Hospice House in Columbus, GA. Funeral services will be held 12:00 noon EST Friday, January 18, 2019 at Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Phenix City with Pastor Marvin Minton officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 11 am to 12 noon EST at the funeral home. Mrs. Williams was born April 19, 1945 in Cottonwood, AL to Nettie Elmore Floyd and the late Barnie Floyd. She had retired with Muscogee Manor Health Care in Columbus, GA, and had worked with Opelika Manufacturing in Phenix City with many years of loyal service.

She enjoyed being outdoors and working in her flower garden, and observing the many beautiful birds that visited her bird feeders. She loved fellowship and welcomed anyone who would come and visit, but her greatest joy was spending and sharing special moments with her grandsons and great grandchildren. She was a member of Crawford Road Baptist Church.

Other than her father, she was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Douglas “Ray” Williams. She is survived by her mother, Nettie Elmore Floyd, two daughters, Angie Williams (Anita), and Kathy Jo Dades and husband Jody, two grandsons, Michael Ray Dades (Brooke), and Stephen Russell Dades, two precious great grandchildren, Kyler Ray Dades, and Harper Grace Dades, one sister, Ann King and husband Bobby and their children, Kim Cobb, and Holly Taylor and her children, Tori, Casey, and Jamie; sister-in-law, Martha Ann Wilkerson (Alvin), niece, Deborah Ann Fitzgerald (Tom) and their daughter, Kaitlyn, niece, Karen Sue Malone (Michael), and numerous other loving family members and many caring friends.
