Bobby Forrest Crum December 04, 1937 – December 09, 2018 Share this obituary Local Florists Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Bobby Forrest Crum, of Rolla, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at the age of 81. Memorial Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Kentucky Road Christian Church in Mexico with Rev. Larry Baitinger officiating.

Visitation is Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until time of services at the church. He was born in White Hall, Illinois on December 4, 1937 to the late George Junior Crum and Bessie Mae (York) Crum. In 1955, he graduated from Mexico High School as the class Valedictorian.

On June 16, 1962, he married Betty VanBoening, who survives. He later married Jane (Decker) Pounds on July 9, 1994 and she survives. Bobby had many talents and interests including hunting, fishing, woodworking, crossword puzzles, vacations, shooting his guns, and reading.

Bobby was also an accomplished and talented taxidermist. Mr. Crum was a faithful member of the Lifeline Baptist Church in Rolla and was baptized on November 10, 2013. He had worked for Montgomery Ward for 18 ½ years and then Kaisers/National Refractories for 32 years, retiring in 2002.

He was always proud that he only had two jobs his entire life. Bobby will be greatly missed by his surviving family which includes his wife, Jane Crum, of Rolla; four children, George Crum and companion Crystal, Gary Crum and wife Peggy, Barbara Crum Coffer and husband Bill, and Teresa Crum Barnett and husband Kevin, all of Mexico; stepson, Mark Pounds and wife Chen Qiuyue, of Rolla; eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; other extended family members and many dear friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Irene Exendine; his brother-in-law, Ernest Exendine; and his step-son, Michael Pounds.
