Bonner Gordon Etheridge, Jr. July 13, 1948 – February 21, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Mr. Bonner Gordon Etheridge, Jr., age 70 of Winnfield, Louisiana passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2019. Born Tuesday, July 13, 1948 in Winnfield, Louisiana, he was proud of his children and loved them and their families dearly and will be remembered as a talented carpenter. He was a truck driver for various employers over the years and was retired from J.B. Griffin Construction.

Mr. Etheridge served in the US Navy and was retired from the Louisiana National Guard. He was preceded in death by his father, Bonner Gordon Etheridge, Sr.; brother, Kerry Banks Etheridge. Those left to cherish his memory include his son, William Michael Etheridge (Krystal), Franklin, TN; daughter, Allison Renee Harrison (Matt), Stuttgart, Germany; mother, Sara Elizabeth McDade Stewart, Winnfield; sister, Denise Etheridge Ball (Ronnie), Winnfield; grandchildren, Shelby and Patrick Harrison and Logan, Luke and Lex Etheridge; special friend, Martha Malone, Winnfield; nieces and nephews, Donna Carleton, Jessica Garrett, Natalie Evans, Spencer Ball and Derek Ball.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at Southern Funeral Home with Rev. Steven Smithson and Rev. John Holland officiating.

Interment will follow with full military graveside honors in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Winnfield. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 12:00 PM until time of services. Serving the family as pallbearers will be Max Tolbird, Jordan Carpenter, Terry Avant, Mike Shumake, Joey Bridges and Tom Russell.
