Mary Opal Kelly May 12, 1934 – February 17, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries Mrs. Mary Opal Kelly, age 84 of Jonesboro, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 17, 2019. She adored working in the yard and grew numerous flowers that left many envious. Mary was named atrist of the month by Jackson Parish Library.

She loved her dog “Reno”, her children, grandchildren and the Lord. She will always be remembered as the best mother in the world. Mrs. Kelly is survived by her children, Richard Morris, Becky Morris Hensley, Jeff Brooks (Lisa); brother, James Fitzpatrick(Brenda); a host of step sons, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Audie Morris, William Brooks, Joe Kelly; children, Brenda Lowe, Debra Morris; grandchild, Sarah Hensley; parents, William and Leona (Robinson) Fitzpatrick; 3 siblings. Friends may visit with the family Tuesday, February 19, 2019 from 5:00-8:00PM at Edmonds Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at 2:00PM at Siloam Springs Church with Reverend Wayne Morrow officiating.

Interment will follow in Springhill Cemetery under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home. Grandchildren serving as pallbearers are Daniel, Gunther, Aaron, Shane, Jake and Josh. Grandchildren serving as honorary pallbearers are Derrick, Quinton, Lathan, Jerrod and Garrett.
