Bonnie LaFollette 1931-2018 Bonnie Belle LaFollette (Dove) went to her eternal home in Heaven on June 15, 2018 knowing because of her faith in Jesus Christ she is “absent from the body and present with the Lord”. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister & friend. Born on October 22, 1931 in Akron, Ohio she was the youngest daughter of the late Alonzo and Myrtle Rasp Dove.

Bonnie graduated from Springfield High School in 1949 and married Wayne LaFollette on October 14th that same year. They celebrated 67 years of marriage in 2016. Her entire adult life was spent selflessly nurturing and leading others as she raised her children, supported the ministries of Grace and Truth Church in Wadsworth, and Ellet Community Church of God.

Devout in her faith, she used her talents to create church newsletters, teach Sunday School, organize neighborhood Bible clubs, recorded daily “morning minute” messages for inspiration and was president of the local chapter of World Gospel Mission. Her testimony of knowing Jesus was that of a faithful servant. Other than her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by husband, Wayne; infant son, Paul Edward; brothers, Richard & Bruce Dove; sister, Pauline Huff; and great granddaughter, Annabelle Joy Jones.

Survived by 4 children; Jody LaFollette (Dave), Gary LaFollette (Kay), D’Ann Sanker (Bob), Vona Colelli (Rick); 12 grandchildren: Christen Black, Stacey Moreen, Nathan LaFollette, Heather Yannuzzo, Rachelle Ferro, Megan Campbell, Amanda Campbell, Jason Colelli, Brandon Colelli, Christopher Colelli, Sean Colelli, Shannon Jones, and 26 great grandchildren. Special appreciation to Cleveland Clinic Akron General Justin T. Rogers Hospice Care. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 22, 2018 at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 222 Norton Ave.

, Barberton with Gary LaFollette and Richard Colelli officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Seville, Ohio. Calling hours will be Thursday, June 21, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM and Friday, June 22, 2018 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
