Obituary for Bonnie C. (Tibbs) Chartrand BONNIE C. (TIBBS) CHARTRAND, 77, Went to be with our lord on Jan. 5th, 2019. Her devoted husband ( George ) by her side.

Bonnie was born in Dayton , Ohio to Mabel and Cleo Cook. She moved to Winter Haven in 1973, where she owned and operated the Ranch House Restaurant until 1979. After selling the restaurant, Bonnie continued on with her education to become a professional aesthetician at PHD Salon for more than 20 years.

Those years in the salon led to many lifelong friendships. She joined The Gardenia Garden Club of Winter Haven for a brief time after retirement. Most of her later years were spent traveling with her dear husband, who made it his mission in life to make her smile and keep her safe and happy.

Her love for her children and grandchildren never faltered. She loved life and will forever be in our hearts. Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents Cleo and Mabel, her sister and best friend Pat Segee, her brother John Cook, her son, Kurtis Tibbs and her grandson Joshua Tibbs.

She is survived by her husband George Chartrand, her Brother Doug Cook, her daughters, Jami Ohagan (Joe), Lisa Pearce (Brian). Grandchildren, Codie Dolson, Jordann Pearce, Grady Ohagan, Delaney Ohagan and Madison Pearce. A memorial service will be held at Oak Ridge Funeral Care on Havendale Blvd.

Winter Haven, Thursday, Jan. 10th at 2:00 pm. In Lieu of Flowers, Please donate in her name to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
