Libia I. López, 85, died on February 12, 2019, surrounded by her family in Winter Haven, FL. She was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador on May 28, 1933, daughter to Daniel I. Moran and Targelia Tomala. Libia resided in Brooklyn, N.Y. and moved to Winter Haven, FL in 1991.

She was a great seamstress and a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Avon Park, FL. Libia was a faithful servant to our Lord, she loved to read the Bible and go to church. She was a very sociable person and didn’t know a stranger; in fact, she would help anyone, as much as she could.

Libia loved her family and was especially close to her sisters, and always call them to make sure everyone was well. Libia was a happy person, very spirited, honest and loving. As a hobby, she loved shopping out, mostly only “window shopping”, she enjoyed going out with her family, and playing cards.

She also liked gardening and cooking. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Julio Enrique López; daughter, Lorena Olinpia López; and grandchildren, Eddie López, Jr. and Juan Enrique López. Libia is survived by her children, Xavier López and his wife, Blanca of Staten Island, N.Y., Eddy López and his wife, Gina of Orlando, FL, Martha López of Haines City, FL, and Cynthia Kocher of Winter Haven, FL; brother, Arturo Moran; sisters, Sonia Moreira and Araceli Moran; grandchildren, Luis, Ketty, Tania, Steven, Karina, Lorraine, Erika, David, Juan Enrique and Jennyfer; great-grandchildren, Destiny, Christian, Justin, Mia, Danny and Alina.

The Visitation with be held on Friday, February 15, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. followed by the funeral service at 6:00 p.m. all at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City, FL. Libia I. López, de 85 años, falleció el día 12 de febrero del 2019, rodeada por su familia en Winter Haven, FL. Nació en Guayaquil, Ecuador el 28 de mayo del 1933, hija de Daniel I. Moran y Targelia Tomala.

Libia residía en Brooklyn, N.Y hasta que decidió mudarse a Winter Haven, FL en el 1991. Ella fué una gran costurera y miembro de la Iglesia Seventh-day Adventist en Avon Park, FL. Libia fué una fiel servidora a nuestro Señor, le encantaba siempre leer la Biblia e ir a la iglesia.

Ella era una persona muy sociable y no conocía a ningún extraño, de hecho, ella siempre ayudaba a cualquiera, como ella pudiera. Libia adoraba a su familia y fué muy unida especialmente con sus hermanas y siempre se comunicaba con ellos para asegurarse de que todos estaban bien. Libia era una persona alegre, honesta, amorosa y un poco brava.

De pasatiempo, le encantaba ir de compras, pero muchas veces solo de “window shopping”, disfrutaba pasear con su familia y jugar cartas. Le gustaba también la jardinería y cocinar. Ella es precedida en muerte por sus padres; su esposo, Julio Enrique López; hija, Lorena Olinpia López; nietos, Eddie López, Jr. y Juan Enrique López.

Libia es sobrevivida por sus hijos, Xavier López y su esposa, Blanca de Staten Island, N.Y. y Eddy López y su esposa, Gina de Orlando, FL; hijas, Martha López de Haines City, FL y Cynthia Kocher de Winter Haven, FL; hermano, Arturo Moran; hermanas, Sonia Moreira y Araceli Moran; nietos/nietas, Luis, Ketty, Tania, Steven, Karina, Lorraine, Erika, David, Juan Enrique y Jennyfer; bisnietos/bisnietas, Destiny, Christian, Justin, Mia, Danny y Alina. La Visita en cuerpo presente se llevará a cabo el viernes, 15 de Febrero del 2019 de 3:00 p.m. hasta las 6:00 p.m. seguido por el servicio funerario será a las 6:00 p.m. todo en Oak Ridge Funeral Care en Haines City, FL.
