DAVENPORT, FLORIDA – Carl Jones, 83, of Davenport, Florida, passed away on February 13, 2019. at his residence. Carl was born on November 18, 1935, in Polk County, Georgia, to Troy Jones and Dora Cain Jones and moved to Davenport, Florida in 1960.

He was retired from Holly Hill Citrus where he was employed for over 40 years. He enjoyed Football and Baseball and was a member of Landmark Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jack Jones and Roger Jones and is survived by brothers, Bobby Jones and wife, Gail, of Floville, Georgia, Jimmy Jones and wife Josephine, of Steinhatchee, Florida and Stanley Jones and wife, Jenny, of Adel, Georgia and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2019, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. and the funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., on Sunday, February 17. 2019 all at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City, with Reverend Guy Wooten officiating, Final Resting Place will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Davenport, Florida.
