Obituary for Delores “Carol” Sheffield Delores “Carol” Sheffield of Winter Haven, FL passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2019. She was 84. A native of Plant City, FL, born February 2, 1934 to John and Evelyn Toole, she moved here in 1950 from Plant City.

She retired from the Polk County School Board as a Para-Professional, and member of the First Baptist Church of Eagle Lake. Carol is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Floyd G. Sheffield of Winter Haven; her sons: John G. Sheffield of Winter Haven, Jeffrey N. Sheffield of Palmetto, Larry K. Sheffield of Winter Haven, and Bob Lisle of Senoia, GA; her daughter: Toni Bruce of Winter Haven; her brothers: John Tool and James Toole, both of Plant City; and her sisters: Geraldine Hamilton of Plant City, and Janice Jenkins of Lake Wales. Carol also leaves behind 14 grandchildren, and 27 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 PM Saturday at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday at the First Baptist Church of Eagle Lake. Interment will be at Auburndale Memorial Park.
