Bonnie J. Conway, Jr., 85, of Evansville, passed away Friday, March 8, 2019, at Deaconess Gateway. He was born August 26, 1933, in Blackford, KY to the late Bonnie J. Conway, Sr. and Mary (Melton) Dassel. Bonnie was a member of the US Air Force and served in the Korean War.

He retired from Sigeco as a supervisor and loved working in his garage restoring cars. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Judith A. (Wade) Conway; son, Mike Conway (Lisa); daughter, Sherry Hartman (Larry); step-sons, Jerry Moore and William “Billy” Moore (Jennifer); brother, Donnie Dassel; sister, Karen Feldbush; grandchildren, Larry Hartman, Stacy Hartman, Michael Conway, Jr., Jayda Alexander, Sasha Wilder, Emma Moore, Lindsay Johnston, Jenna Claborn and Jared Claborn; and 9 great-grandchildren. Bonnie was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara (Cox) Conway, in 1987; and his parents.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Reverend Veltri Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until service time, Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL.
