Obituary for Br. Jeremiah Tuttle Br. Jeremiah Tuttle, O.S.B. 67 of Conception Abbey passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at St. Stephen’s Infirmary at Conception, Missouri.

Br. Jeremiah was born on March 27, 1951 in WaKeeney, Kansas to the late Delbert and Martha (Carlson) Tuttle. He was a graduate of Quinter High School in Quinter, Kansas and Barton County Community College in Great Bend, Kansas.

He professed as a monk on August 15, 1997. His assignments at Conception Abbey were sales and marketing for the Printery House and Basilica sacristan. Br.

Jeremiah is survived by his monastic community; two brothers, Scott Tuttle, Hayes, Kansas and J. Sheldon Tuttle, Kansas City, Missouri; one sister, Melissa Riegal of Hayes, Kansas and other family members. Visitation will be held from 6:00pm Monday, September 10th with Vespers of the Dead at 7:15pm at The Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, Conception, Missouri. Mass of Christian Burial 11:30am Tuesday, September 11th at The Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, with burial following at St. Columba Cemetery, Conception, Missouri.
