Braileyn Louis Smith September 19, 2018 – February 03, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries CARENCRO ~ Funeral services will be held Friday, February 8, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in Evangeline Memorial Gardens Chapel in Carencro for Braileyn Louis Smith, 4 months old, who passed away Sunday, February 3, 2019 at his residence in Carencro. Interment will be in Evangeline Memorial Gardens in Carencro. Pastor Marty Hoey, of Crossroads Church in Lafayette, will officiate at the services.

Survivors include his parents, Leroy Smith and his mother, Jadda Chiasson; his maternal grandparents, Helen Leger of Dural and Scotty Lantier; his paternal grandmother, Michelle Smith; his maternal great grandparents, Eunice Leger and Sherwood Leger; his paternal great grandmother, Emelda Smith; four brothers, Daileyn Malveaux, Leroy Smith, Jr., Landon Smith and Karson Duncan; and three sisters, Nevaeh Kae Malveaux, Malaya Chiasson and Jaílyn Malveaux. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Carl James Chiasson. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10:00 a.m. Friday until service time on Friday.

Pallbearers will be Leroy Smith, Steven Rogers, Daileyn Malveaux and Patrick Bellard. Melancon Funeral Home, Evangeline Memorial Gardens Chapel, 4117 N. University Ave. , Carencro, (337) 896-3232, is in charge of arrangements.
