Obituary for Brandon F. Nall Sr. 84, of Louisville passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 11, 2018 with his family by his side. He was a native of Louisville, son of the late George and Mary Sherrard Nall. He was a graduate of duPont Manual High School and University of Louisville Speed Scientific School.

He served in the U.S. Army during peacetime after the Korean Conflict and was a supervisor for the U.S. Postal Service and after retirement worked at Churchill Downs. Brandon was a member of Beargrass Christian Church for over 45 years and was a member of the Friendship Sunday School Class. At another church, he served on numerous committees, was a Deacon, and was the co-chair of the building committee when they built their new sanctuary.

He was a devoted grandfather, always attending the kids soccer and basketball games. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Brandon R. Nall, Jr He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Patsy Carver Nall; a daughter, Belinda Nall Frankel; a son, Barry Nall (Stacey); grandchildren, Brantly Nall, Tyler Nall, Melinda Hope Frankel, Maddie Charlee Bass Nall and Mason Stephen Bass Nall; and two brothers, Floyd E. Nall (Cel) and George V. Nall.

His funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday in the chapel at Beargrass Christian Church, 4100 Shelbyville Road with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be 1 to 4p.m. Sunday at Ratterman Brothers Funeral Home, 3711 Lexington Road “in St. Matthews”. Memorial gifts may be made to Beargrass Christian Church.
