Brandon Scott Stover, 22, of Winfield, passed away Friday, May 24, 2019 from injuries received in an automobile accident. Brandon was born March 7, 1997 in Huntington and was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, James F. and Hester Briscoe, Charles and Sylvia Heater, Joe and Ruby Stover and Joann Hayes. He was a 2016 graduate of Winfield High School and was employed by Walker Chevrolet, Nitro.

A kind-hearted individual, and sometimes a little shy, Brandon was fiercely loyal to his family and friends. He enjoyed making music (and was good at it! ) His musical abilities as a guitarist, keyboardist and vocalist brought him great pleasure.

Surviving are his grandparents, Danny W, and Cheryl A. Briscoe of Winfield, Jay and Linda Stover of Dunbar, James and Carolyn Kent of St. Albans; father and stepmother, Scott and Gwen Stover of St. Albans; mother, Kathy Joann Stover of Charleston; sister, Reagan Justice of Scott Depot and several aunts, uncles and cousins. A service to celebrate Brandon’s life will be held at 3pm Sunday, May 26, 2019 at Chapman Funeral Home, Hurricane with Pastor Brain Donze officiating. Visitation will begin at 1pm.

He will be laid to rest privately at the Briscoe Family Cemetery, Winfield. You may also visit his tribute page at ChapmanFuneralHomes.com to share your memories with the family.
