Brenda Ann Roper-Pugh departed this life on Sunday, May 26, 2019 at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center in Mobile, AL. Born February 17, 1949 to Rosevelt and Claudie Burroughs Roper, she was seventy years of age. Her working life included Mental Health Worker for the Southwest Alabama Mental Healthcare Facility in Grove Hill, AL and Ministry.

A member of the Clarkesville AOH Church of God in Grove Hill, AL, she enjoyed ministry throughout the church, breast cancer awareness speaking and just relating the Word of God to people in general. Preceding her in death are her children: Nicholas Pugh, Ronnie Pugh, Jr., and Veronica Dixon; and parents: Rosevelt and Claudie Roper. Left to forever cherish her precious memories are her husband: Ronnie Pugh, Sr., Winn, AL; son, Ozzie S. (Natalie) Pugh, Tuscaloosa, AL; daughter: Crystal N. Pugh, Tuscaloosa, AL; sister,: Beverly Roper Head, Birmingham, AL; brother: Rosevelt Roper, Grove Hill, AL; eleven grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
