Brenda Fern Birge English, 65, passed away Monday, May 27, 2019, at her home in Lebanon, Indiana. She was born on October 20, 1953 in Lebanon, a daughter of the late Gomer Lee and Ruby Fern (Lister) Birge. She was married to Thomas English and later divorced.

Raised in Lebanon, Brenda attended Lebanon High School. She had worked as a secretary for Hardaway Construction Corporation in Nashville, Tennessee and also Aero Drapery in Sheridan for a period of time. Brenda was a member of the Lebanon Eagles Club.

She enjoyed arts and crafts, painting, working puzzles, and flower gardening. Survivors include: Sister: Sandra Lee Birge Morken – Lebanon, Indiana Two Brothers: Jerry D. Birge – Lebanon, Indiana David L. (Kathy) Birge – Zionsville, Indiana Many Nieces and Nephews In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by two brothers, Bradley R. Birge and Marvin G. Birge; a sister-in-law, Judith Birge; nephew, Jerad Birge; and great nephew, Jared Kerr. Funeral Services are planned for 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2019, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home in Lebanon. Interment will follow services at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon. Memorials may be directed in her memory to the Humane Society for Boone County, P.O. Box 708, Lebanon, Indiana 46052 or to Love INC, 817 West Pearl Street, Lebanon, Indiana 46052.
