Betty Louise Greene February 15, 1927 – May 19, 2019 Share this obituary View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Mrs. Betty Louise Greene, 92, of Lebanon, passed away May 19, 2019, at Homewood Health Campus in Lebanon. Betty was born Feb. 15, 1927, in Lebanon, a daughter of the late Bert and Myrtle (Gardner) Wallace.

She married Thomas William Greene. He preceded her in death in 1987. Betty attended Lebanon High School.

She worked as a telephone operator for Indiana Bell, which later became AT&T, and after 40 years of service, Betty retired from AT&T to spend time with her family. Survivors include her sons, John “Gig” (Glenda) Greene and James “Jim” (Barb) Greene; grandchildren, Chadd (Leslie) Rauch, Thomas (April) Greene, Matthew Greene, Shannon (Rod) Davis, Michael (Annie) Greene, Tony Greene, and Kristi (Randy Rusher) Greene; and great-grandchildren, Paige Jones, Dillan, Austin, and Sophia Rauch, Riley and Bailey Davis, Aubree, Ethan, and A.J. Greene, Lexi and Brini Mitchell, Charli, Josi, and Tanner Greene, Karis Scott, and Randon Rusher. In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by her son, Master Trooper Michael Earl Greene, sisters, Juanita “Hap” Livingston, Kathleen Fine, and Myrna Gregg; and great-grandson, Spencer Davis.
