Brenda Joyce Willoughby, 71, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky went to her heavenly home on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Beaver Dam Nursing & Rehab with her family by her side. She was born March 4, 1947 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Dellious White and Mildred Lois Davis White. Brenda retired as a side seamer from Flynn Sewing Factory but spent most of her time at Cowden’s in Beaver Dam.

She was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church. Aside from her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Squire “Dunnie” Willoughby; twin daughters, Penny and Jenny Willoughby; brother, Leon White, and sister, Opal McKinney. She leaves behind to cherish her memory two daughters, Angie (Charlie) Farris of Utica, and Laura (Jeff) Shephard of Beaver Dam; granddaughter, Ashley Rhye (Nathan Edge); two great granddaughters, Brilee Edge and Kristen Howard; sister, Mary Frances Willoughby of Beaver Dam; “the best, wonderful” brother-in-law, Tommy Willoughby of Beaver Dam, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, October 15, 2018 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Rev. Brent Howard and Bro. Jerry Alexander officiating.

Burial will follow in New Harmony Cemetery in Butler County, Kentucky. Friends may visit with the family from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Sunday and from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service Monday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.
