BRENDA’s Obituary Brenda Kay Hoffmann, 67 years old of Bristol, WI, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2019 in Grayslake, IL. She was born January 22, 1952 in Helena, KY, the daughter of the late Charles Hull and the late Dorothy (nèe Hamilton) Hull Dixon. She loved reading and gardening.

Her most loved hobby was quilting, an art she mastered over the last 12 years. Brenda was a longtime Christian and her faith was very important to her. Brenda is survived by her daughters, Shannon (Greg) Gipson and Kristen (Jeremy Janis) Schneider; her five grandchildren, Michael (Laura) Wendt, Brittany (Michael) Templeton, Steven Miller, Matthew and Casey Gipson and three great-grandchildren, Logan, Mesiah, Lennox; her siblings, Joyce (Richard) Pedersen, Carolyn “Sue” (Lyle) Ferris, Lynn (Nicholas) Cheronis, Stella “Tina” Hull, James (Nancy Johnson) Hull; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to her parents and her stepfather, Robert W. Dixon, she was preceded in death by her brother, Charles (Renee) Hull. Visitation will be held from 10:00AM until 12:00PM Saturday, May 25, 2019 at the STRANG FUNERAL HOME OF ANTIOCH, 1055 Main St. Antioch, IL 60002 with a Funeral Service commencing at 12:00PM. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Antioch.
