Obituary for Brenda L. Pender Amesbury, MA – Brenda L. Pender, 78, of Amesbury, died suddenly Saturday, June 2, 2018 at her home. She was born December 1, 1939 in Seabrook, NH a daughter of the late Ernest and Margaret (Hall) Janvrin. Brenda was raised in Seabrook, attended local schools and graduated from Amesbury High School with the Class of 1958.

Family was most important to her, especially her grandchildren. She was the wife of the late Richard O. Pender who predeceased her in 1994. Family members include three children, Richard O. Pender, Jr. of Amesbury, Gleann Bagnall and her husband Rick of Concord, NH, Stacy Melvin and her husband George of Kingston, NH, three grandchildren, George III, Sadie and Riley Melvin, her brother, Frank Janvrin of Seabrook, nieces and nephews.

She was also predeceased by her son, Jeffrey Pender in 1992, and siblings, Ernest, Alfred and Arthur Janvrin, Mavis Eaton and Mary Knowles. Visiting hours will be from 6-8 P.M. Thursday, June 7, 2018 at the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton, NH. Graveside services will be held at 12 noon Friday, June 8, 2018 in the Wildwood Cemetery, Seabrook, NH.
