Obituary for Hilda A. Russell Hampton – Hilda A. Russell, 98, of Hampton, and formerly of Farmington and Newmarket, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Clipper Harbor of Portsmouth where she had been living since falling ill. Hilda was born on April 20, 1920 in Raymond, the daughter of the late Thomas W. and Angeline (Brusso) Wallace. She was raised in a number of towns in New Hampshire.

She had settled in Farmington to raise her family and lived there for over 30 years before relocating to Newmarket and eventually to Hampton in the early 1980s. Hilda is probably best known in Hampton for her walking and was even featured in an earlier newspaper article. In addition to walking, she enjoyed bowling and going to the Seafood Festival.

She is survived by her daughter, Priscilla Ann Favreau of Rochester, her grandchildren, Robin, Ronald, Patrick and Scott Munday, Bridgette St. Jean and Shannon St. Hillaire and her 7great grandchildren. Hilda was predeceased by her siblings, Thomas, Joseph, Loneeda, Henry and Achilles Wallace, Clara Corno, Delores Coran and Arolene Waldron and her great grandson, A. J. St. Jean Family and friends are invited to gather and share memories from 2 to 3 PM on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 in the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home – Crematory, 811 Lafayette Rd. , Hampton.
