Brenda S. Garr of Girard passed away on Friday, October 5, 2018 at 7:52 p.m. in the Trumbull Regional Medical Center. She was 65. Brenda was born on May 4, 1953 in McKeesport, PA, the daughter of Robert and Elonore Shaffer.

She attended Campbell Memorial School Systems. Brenda was employed through many different cleaning services throughout the years. Brenda enjoyed playing on her computer, especially playing solitaire, as well as watching movies, coloring and completing puzzles.

She cherished the memories she made and time she spent with her family and friends. She leaves behind her father Robert Shaffer; 3 daughters, Angela (Jimmy) Markey, Amber (Jay) Racick, and Alexa Garr; a son, Adam (Kristin) Mestichelli; a brother, Bobby (Suzie) Shaffer; 7 grandchildren; and a nephew, James Robert Shaffer. Brenda was preceded in death by her mother, Elenore Shaffer.
