Brian Eugene Brobston, 51, of Middletown, died at 8:48 PM Monday, July 16, 2018, at the Great River Medical Center in West Burlington. Born August 19, 1966, in Burlington, he was the son of Mary Dvorak and David and Carol Brobston. He started off working for Doran & Ward and then Burlington Mobile Homes.

For the last 12 years he loved working at Perkins Restaurant, where he was always socializing with the patrons. He was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. He enjoyed stock car races, basketball and watching ESPN.

He enjoyed going to Florida, camping, go-cart racing, mushroom hunting, riding four wheelers and taking naps. Most of all, he loved to spend time with his kids and grandkids. Survivors include his father, David (Laurie) Brobston of Rogersville, TN; two sons Brad Brobston of Burlington and Tyler (Ashley) Brobston of West Burlington; two daughters, Samantha (Seth Crowner) Brobston and Christian Brobston both of Middletown; three grandsons: Liam Roy, Silas Eugene, and Layton; seven sisters, Angela (Fel) Seward and Becky Jo Brobston both of Canton, IL; Shelly (Jim) Tourtillot of Cuba, IL, Michelle (Tom) Binger of Farmington, IL, Susie Brobston of Peoria, IL, Davene Brobston of Canton, GA, and Summer (Q) Ray of Burlington; four brothers, Jason (Crystal) Harkless of Morristown, TN, Chris (Kayla) Harkless of Mediapolis, Steven Moyers of Lomax, Jim (Kathy Hoser) Wiegand of Oquawka; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mothers, grandparents, and one aunt, Sherry Dvorak. Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh~Thielen Crematory. A Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Brobston will be 3:00 PM Friday, July 20, 2018, at his residence.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for his grandchildren.
