Brian J. Goldberg, age 65, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 21, 2019. He was born on March 24, 1953 to Jack and Gloria (Huntoon) Goldberg in Muskegon. Brian worked for over 30 years for Consumer’s Energy until his retirement in 2011.

He was a handyman to his whole family and always loved having a project to work on. If the job was to be done, Brian made sure it was done right. He cherished his family with all his heart and found love and warmth with the addition of his eight grandchildren.

He will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Gail Goldberg; children, Jennifer Goldberg (Rob Jones), Tracey (Paul) Larson, Dallas (Melissa) Goldberg; grandchildren, Austin, Stormy, Cameron, Breeze, Taylor, Skylar, Briar, Gwen; brother, Edward (Penny) Goldberg; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Jessica; sister, Marie (Bill) Karafa; and nieces, Amanda and Sharon.

VISITATION with Brian’s family will take place on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. (231) 798-1100. A FUNERAL SERVICE for Brian will take place on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at 11:00 AM at with Pastor John Brown officiating at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Mona View Cemetery.
