Michael “Zeke” H. McKenna, Sr, age 72, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 in Grand Haven. He was born on October 31, 1946 to Eldon and Suzanne (Durham) McKenna in Muskegon. A lifelong resident of the area, Michael owned Z-Transmissions for 16 years.

His passion in life was cars and he was a local circle track driver. Michael will be deeply missed by his children, Michael (Teresa) McKenna, Jr, Michelle (Matt) Sprague, Lisa (Leroy) Bayne, Kyle McKenna, Kendra McKenna, Kayleigh McKenna and Joseph McKenna; 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; niece, Michelle Speier; and girlfriend of 24 years, Carol McIntyre. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Sheila (Denny) Collis.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements by The Sytsema Chapel, 737 E. Apple Ave. , 49442, 231-726-5210.
