Brian Monroe Medlin, 50, of Stanfield, passed away unexpectantly from a heart attack Saturday, June 2, 2018. Mr. Medlin was born June 29, 1967 in Mecklenburg County to Gene Medlin and Jane Medlin. Brian loved his pets and telling jokes.

He enjoyed traveling and listening to beach music. Brian was good hearted and a very giving person. He will be greatly missed.

In addition to his parents, survivors include sisters, Melanie Medlin Hall and husband Michael of Indian Trail, Melissa Medlin Fulton of Midland; niece, Ashley and nephews, Justin, Logan and Brandon. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to West Stanly Christian Ministries, P. O. Box 27, Stanfield, NC 28163. Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is serving the Medlin family.
