Bridget M. Pitre, 90, a native and resident of Houma passed away on January 28, 2019. A visitation will be held in her honor on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, West Park from 8:00 AM until funeral time. A religious service will take place at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.

Interment will take place in St. Francis #2 cemetery. She is survived by her sons, Jimmy Pitre (Billy), Perry Pitre (Sonoma); grandchildren, Jimmy “J” Pitre (Shannon), Brian Pitre (Tiffiny), Matthew Pitre (Amber), and Jacob Pitre (Sarah); grandchildren, Gage, Chloe, Colby, Madison, Jacob, Samuel, Sawyer, and Ainsley. She is preceded in death by her husband, Junius Pitre; parents, Clarence and Ailene Roundtree Mayeaux; brother, Clarence Mayeaux Jr.; sisters, Eula Mae Bourgeois, Hazel Guidry, Pearl Mayeaux, Margaret Mayeaux and Elizabeth Mayeaux.
