Obituary for Linda Pierre Linda Lou Pierre, 66, a native and resident of Dulac, Louisiana passed away on January 24, 2019. A visitation will be held in her honor on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, Bayou Blue, from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Dulac, from 8:00 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. The burial will follow in Holy Family Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Joseph Julius Pierre; sons, Paul Pierre and companion, Marchella Verdin, Jessie Pierre and wife, April Pierre, and Jason Pierre and companion, Marcy Bertinot; siblings, Adam Fitch and wife, Rose and Laura Verdin and husband, Paul Sr.; 14 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents, Cyril and Helen Verrett Fitch; siblings, Mary Jean Dion, Francis Fitch, and Wilbert Fitch. Linda enjoyed fishing and was well known for cooking stuffed crabs and shrimp boulettes.

She loved making quilts for her family and grandchildren. In her pastime, she enjoyed her adult coloring books and crossword puzzles. Linda will be missed greatly by all who knew her.
