Marcelite Naquin, 93, life long residence of Point-aux-Chenes, passed away on January 19, 2019. Visitation will be Thursday, January 24, 2019 from 5pm to 9pm and Friday, January 25, 2019 from 9am to 11am at Live Oak Baptist Church in Pointe-aux-Chenes. The Funeral Service will be held Friday, January 25, 2019 at 11am at Live Oak Baptist Church, followed by the burial in St. Charles Cemetery in Pointe-aux-Chenes.

She is survived by her children, Wilson (Margaret) Verdin, Anesie (Jane) Verdin, John (Bernita) Verdin, Wilma Guidry, Early (Gerilyn) Verdin, Bernice (Babae) Billiot, Earline (Henry) Naquin, and Roger Verdin; 35 grandchildren; 72 great grandchildren; 15 great great grandchildren; 9 step grandchildren; 44 step great grandchildren; 12 step great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Verdin; second husband, Buster Naquin; parents, Roger Billiot and Louise Naquin Billiot; 4 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild. Samart Funeral Home of Houma, Bayou Blue is in charge of arrangements.
