Nicholas Avery Price, 63, a native of San Diego, California and resident of Houma, Louisiana passed away on January 15, 2019. A visitation will be held in his honor on Friday, January 18, 2019, at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, Bayou Blue, from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Annuniziata Catholic Church, from 9:00 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. The burial will follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery.

He is survived by his companion, Sophie Theriot; three daughters, Crystal Duplantis (James Barnes), Sherri Clark (Louis), Stephanie Renee’ Price; former spouse, Dinah Price LeJeune; sisters, Roberta Bradfield, Elaine Padgett (Bill), and Annie Savoie (Cody); grandchildren, Karlie (Justin), Masion (Trisha), Jayden, Tyler, Drew; and great-grandchild, Elijah. He is preceded in death by his parents, Elward Joseph Price and Millie Hipp Price; and brother, John C.
