Gena Rose Rumore, 56, a native of Thibodaux and resident of Montegut, passed away on January 20, 2019. A visitation will be held in her honor on Friday, January 25, 2019 at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, Bayou Blue, from 9:00 am until 10:00 am followed the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Charles Borromeo in Thibodaux at 11:00 am. The burial will follow in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her companion, Teddy Lebouf; sons, Lance Rumore, Brandon Lebouf, Travis Lebouf, Dusy Lebouf, Ken Williams, and Michael Olivier; daughters, Janaie Williams, Andrea Rumore, Nichole Vaughn, and Cara Rumore; brothers, Jerome Zeringue, and Paul Zeringue; sisters, Angie Zeringue, Karen Zeringue, and Odelia Voclain; grandchildren, Jeremy Rodrigue, Jacobie Williams, Phillip Ledet, Katelynn Ledet, Macy Black, Beau Black Jr., Chelsey Lirette, Logan Lirette Jr., Leah Lirette, Ayden Clement, Drayden Clement, Bentley Vaughn, and Lexie Vaughn; and great-grandchildren, Alyiah Rodrigue and Jeremiah Rodrigue. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Rumore; parents, Eugene Zeringue and Rosa Lynn Lee; son, Tony Vaughn; and daughter, Jill Vaughn. Online condolences can be given at www.
