Bruce J. Mendenhall, age of 73 passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Friday, October 12, 2018. Bruce was born on April 19, 1945 in Ogden, Utah to Russel D. and Ruby Jensen Mendenhall. Bruce was raised in Clearfield and graduated from Clearfield High School.

He filled an honorable mission to Austria. He married his sweet heart Tamra Wyler, September 14, 1967 in the Logan Temple. To this union was born seven children.

He served in the United States Air Force for four years. Bruce retired from Hill Air Force Base as supervisor of the F16’s. Bruce was active in the LDS church and fulfilled many callings.

He was very active and enjoyed his daily walks with his wife, gardening and baking. He loved spending time serving others and was a great example to his family and friends. He is survived by his wife Tamra of 51 years.

His children Brian W., Rebecca & Steven Coxey, Julie and Brett Barnett, Maryann and Jacob Wayman, Kathryn Mendenhall, Matthew and Carolyn Mendenhall, Kimberly and Zachary Delong. Bruce has seventeen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren with one on the way. Preceded in death by his parents and brothers Cleve & Baby boy Mendenhall.

Special Thanks to Dr. Gray and Dr. Fisher & their Staffs, Physician Assistant Elizabeth Winfield at Ogden Regional & Hearts of Hospice. Funeral Services will be held at Myers Mortuary, 5865 S 1900 W, Roy, Utah on Wednesday, October 17th. A viewing will be held from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm with Funeral Services following at 7:00 pm.

Interment will take place at the Paris, Idaho Cemetery the following day (October 18th).
