Bud C. Schroeder, 90, of Roscoe, passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2018. He was born on May 23, 1928 in Kendall, Wisconsin to Charles and Emma (Doms) Schroeder. Bud spent 23 years in the United States Navy working in the Pentagon and working directly with the Secretary of the Navy, John H. Chafee.

He survived the great USS Forrestal Fire in 1967. Bud then spent many years as the Director of Northern Center for Developmental Disabled. Survivors include his sons, Robert Schroeder and Eric (Linda) Schroeder; grandchildren, Marshall, Evan, Collin, Zach, Cory, Jay, Jacob, Autumn and Drew; great-grandchildren, Josh and Zach; cousin, Mary Lou Whiple.

Predeceased by his parents; wife, Dorothy Schroeder; sister, Adeline Mittermeyer; brother, Raymond Schroeder. No services are planned.
