OBITUARY Carl Edward Slinker December 29, 1943 – October 25, 2018 Carl Edward Slinker, 74, of Louisville, entered into rest on Thursday, October 25th. He was a retired letter carrier for the USPS. Mr. Slinker was an Army veteran and a member of the Lewis-Parkland Masonic Lodge 638.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Brenda Slinker; a daughter, Susan Callis (John); two grandchildren, Jacob Callis and Kalin Callis; a brother, Monzel Slinker (Edna); and two sisters, Betty Howard (Kenneth) and Youlonda Campbell (Jimmy). His funeral will be on Monday, October 29th, at 1pm at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, with interment following in Bethany Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday from 12 noon until 8pm and Sunday from 10 am until 8pm.
